Feedback

We’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete our survey.

We know surveys can feel like a bit of a chore, but your feedback is genuinely important.

It helps us secure government funding and continue to grow the festival, as well as improve the experience each year. We already have our own list of ideas for improvement but hearing directly from you matters most.  https://forms.gle/P1Ee49CyhJgTDeoeA

We are giving at $100 Senior Art Supplies gift voucher to one lucky entry drawn once the survey closes 8th May.

Artwork Sales & Commissions

Throughout the week, we worked to promote your art through local media, exhibitions, and public locations to help support sales. Something we know can make a meaningful difference in offsetting your costs.

Commission on sold artwork is a critical source of funding that enables us to deliver the festival to a high standard, operate it safely, and sustain it for years to come. We sincerely thank you for your integrity in honouring this arrangement.

We’re currently reconciling all sales from the week:

  • If we handled your sale (either at the tent during the week or at the exhibition at Fitters Workshop), we’ll be in touch within the next week to request your bank information.
  • If you received a prize, you’ll also receive a separate email within the next week requesting your bank details for payment.
  • If you sold artwork directly (to the public or another artist), we ask that you honour the 25% commission by transferring it to the account below or via the online payment link.

Bank Details:
Capital Plein Air Painting Association
Bendigo Bank

(Please email confirmation to capitalpleinair@gmail.com)

Note: Commission applies only to sales made during the festival week. Any post-festival sales are entirely yours.

GST & Invoicing (Artist Information)

Capital Plein Air operates as an agent for artists. This means that all artwork sales are made directly between the artist and the buyer, and we facilitate the transaction on your behalf.

As we are not registered for GST, no GST was charged on artwork sales and we do not add GST to commission. Artists who are registered for GST are responsible for reporting and remitting any GST associated with their sales.

For the purposes of payment, the sales summary provided in your email acts as your remittance statement. You are not required to issue an invoice to us for your artwork sales. If you require a tax invoice for your own records or for a buyer, this can be issued directly by you.

(Workshop fees and other services provided to the festival are separate and do require an invoice.)

Artwork Photos

With so much happening, we didn’t manage to capture every painting, and we know some sold before we even had the chance!

If you’re happy to share your work, we’d love you to upload images to our Google Drive. These images help us promote future festivals, share with partners, and build excitement for next year. Your artwork might even make it to the front cover of our brochure!

Upload here:

So we can get spelling and artwork names correct, pls name your files:
ArtistName_ArtworkTitle_Location

By uploading, you’re giving permission for us to use your image for festival-related promotion (always with full credit).

Get Involved

Capital Plein Air has grown quickly, and it’s still run by a very small team behind the scenes.

As we look ahead to next year, we’d love to connect with anyone who might be interested in getting more involved—whether you have specific skills or are simply keen to be part of helping bring it all together again. If that sounds like you, feel free to reach out or have a chat with us.
