Festival Patron — Warwick Fuller

We are honoured to have celebrated Australian landscape painter Warwick Fuller return as our Festival Patron for CaPA 2026. His guidance, presence and generosity of knowledge continue to be a cornerstone of our growing plein-air community.

With a career spanning more than forty years and over sixty solo exhibitions in Australia and London, Warwick Fuller is widely recognised as one of Australia’s most accomplished landscape painters. His ability to capture subtle shifts of light, atmosphere and mood has earned him a respected place in the plein-air tradition and a devoted following among painters and collectors alike.

Warwick’s professional journey includes several assignments as an Official Tour Artist accompanying His Majesty King Charles III during royal visits to Australia — experiences that further deepened his connection to the landscape and the demands of working quickly, responsively, and often in challenging conditions. Yet his work remains grounded in a personal philosophy of curiosity, discipline and a lifelong commitment to painting outdoors.

Beyond accolades, Warwick is known for his generous spirit and willingness to share knowledge. His demonstrations, conversations in the field and thoughtful reflections on painting have influenced countless artists across Australia.
